USED “FULL SIZED” FOUR WHEEL POP-UP CAMPERS BUILT “BEFORE” 1990 WILL USUALLY ONLY FIT THE FOLLOWING TRUCKS:

Chevy & GMC Trucks built in 1988 or older  (Ex: 1988 Chevy. 1987 Chevy, 1986 Chevy, Etc.)

Dodge Trucks built in 1993 or older  (Ex: 1993 Dodge Ram, 1992 Dodge Ram, 1991 Dodge Ram, Etc.)

Ford F-150 Trucks built in 1996 or older  (Ex: 1996 Ford F-150, 1995 Ford F-150, 1994 Ford F-150, Etc.)

Ford F-250 / F-350 Trucks built in 1998 or older  (Ex: 1998 Ford F-250/350, 1997 Ford F-250/350, 1996 Ford F-250/350, Etc.)

USED “FULL SIZED” FOUR WHEEL POP-UP CAMPERS BUILT “AFTER” 1990 WILL USUALLY ONLY FIT THE FOLLOWING TRUCKS:

Most Chevy / GMC Trucks (Up Until 2007 Models): The newer 2007 body style Chevy & GMC trucks have a narrower tail gate opening than older years of the Chevy/GMC trucks. Please call us for details if you have a late 2007 – 2015 Chevy / GMC and are looking for fit guidance on used FWC campers. The general rule of thumb is that if you own a 2007 or newer Chevy or GMC and are looking for a used four wheel camper, you will need to find a used camper that was built in 2002 or newer. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Most Dodge Trucks (except 1994): For the 1994 Dodge Ram Trucks, follow the Tundra fit application (due to the narrow tail gate opening). The newest Dodge Ram trucks with the “rambox cargo management  system” will NOT be a good choice, as the 4-wheel campers will NOT fit in the Dodge Ram trucks with the new “rambox cargo management  system”. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Most Ford F-150 Trucks: On the 04′ – 15′ F-150 a small 2″ platform will be needed because these trucks have a deeper truck bed. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Most Ford F-250 / F-350 Trucks up until 1998 (if you have a 1999-2015 Ford F-250 / F-350 you will have to build a platform for the used campers to sit on. (those trucks have a taller cab height). Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Some newer Toyota Tundra trucks (2007 – 2015): The older Tundra trucks have a very narrow tail gate opening and the older used four wheel campers usually will not fit. The newer generation of Tundra trucks (2007 – 2015) have a deeper truck bed, and a little wider tail gate opening. If you can find a used FWC that will fit your new generation Tundra, some modifications might be needed for proper fit. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Some Nissan Titan trucks: Most of the older, used four wheel campers are quite wide.If you can find a used FWC that will fit your Nissan Titan, some modifications might be needed for proper fit. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and the used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

USED “FULL SIZED” FOUR WHEEL POP-UP CAMPERS BUILT “AFTER” 2002 WILL USUALLY FIT THE FOLLOWING TRUCKS:

Most Chevy / GMC Trucks:  Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Most Dodge Trucks: The only exception: the newest Dodge Ram trucks with the “rambox cargo management  system” will NOT be a good choice, as the 4-wheel campers will NOT fit in the Dodge Ram trucks with the new “rambox cargo management  system”. Besides that, always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Most Ford F-150 Trucks: On the 2004 – 2015 Ford F-150 trucks, a small 2″ platform under the camper will “usually” be needed because these trucks have a deeper truck bed. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Most Ford F-250 / F-350 Trucks: On the 1999 – 2015 Ford F250 / F-350 a small platform will “usually” be needed under the camper because these trucks have a taller truck cab. Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed and used camper before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.

Toyota Tundra Trucks: Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed, tail gate opening,  and the used camper base before you buy it, so that you know it will actually fit in your truck bed. The older Tundra trucks (2000 – 2006 Toyota Tundra’s) have a very narrow tail gate opening and a shallower truck bed. The 2000 – 2006 Toyota Tundra trucks only have a 58″ wide tail gate opening. Most older Four Wheel Camper “Hawk or Grandby Models” built before 2002 are 60″ wide in the camper base and will NOT usually fit the 2000 – 2006 Tundra trucks. You would most likely need to find an FWC Hawk built from 2002 or newer for a possible match. The older Eagle & Fleet Models are a bit smaller/narrower and sometimes might be a better fit for the 2000 – 2006 “Access Cab” Tundra’s. The newer generation of Tundra trucks (2007 – 2015) have a deeper truck bed, and a little wider tail gate opening. If you can find a used FWC that will fit your newer generation Tundra, some modifications might be needed for proper fit (small platform under the camper so the camper is not resting on the side bed rails of your truck). Always make sure you take careful measurements of your truck bed, tail gate opening, and used camper base before you buy it, so that you know it will fit.
